Los Altos is a suburb of Torrevieja, about 5kms away from the lively town centre. There is a large supermarket within walking distance, shops, bars and restaurants. In Torrevieja itself you will find countless places to eat, three excellent hospitals, health centres, dentists, vets, schools, a multi-screen cinema, a theatre, two water parks and a vast range of sports facilities. Golf enthusiasts are well catered for with several championship golf courses nearby.
The coast, with its award winning Blue Flag beaches, is within easy reach. The World Health Organisation has declared this area one of the healthiest places to live in the world. Recent improvements to the motorway network make Los Altos easily accessible – thirty minutes’ drive from Alicante airport.
